Exactly, they also fish a lot with Daiwa SP and Yo-Zuri Hydro minnows, let's see what a Tide Minnow can do there I have to figure out how to convert them to 2 bigger hooks without losing it's swimming characteristics. Did you already fished the Tide Minnow Ghost? Black Minnows and Crazy Sandeels will surely accompany us as well as some Samson lures. In the topwater segment it will be the Xorus Patchinko and Asturie.

If you can't find a way to rig it properly, the Palms Ark Rover might be a valid alternative, it is fairly robust and works still well with x3 hooks, another option would be bigger single hooks to keep the weight the same, but upgrade the strenght, but I am sure you will have kept this in mind anyway!

Regarding the topwater lures I am very curious to see what they do there, as the spooks used there are similiar in action and shape, I would say!

Haha, i was confused as well, you speaking Dutch.. Yeah my native tongue is Dutch, but German sites are automatically translated to English on my devices, like most other languages.

No, no! I controll myself now, so I don't have to when I am in Japan (that would be a futile endeavor) , hence I did not get the new tide minnow YET!

Auf welcher Insel bist du unterwegs? Wir fahren im Oktober wieder in die Richtung, freue mich schon drauf!

Blue Runner wäre auch am ehesten meine Vermutung gewesen, war aber spektisch da die Färbung gar nicht mit den kleineren Exemplaren zusammenpasst.

Gefischt habe ich diesmal nur auf Sao Nicolau. Gute Spots zu finden ist auf den Kap Verden meiner Erfahrung nach recht schwer, auf Sao Nicolau gibts aber solide Optionen die auch bei starkem Wind funktionieren.

Das denke ich mir auch seit Jahren, aber obwohl er in jedem Urlaub ans Band kommt verweigert er sich beharrlich einen guten Eindruck bei mir zu hinterlassen.
Geht mir aber auch mit dem Seaspin Mommotti (wobei der wenigstens ab und zu mal fängt) so....und der ist ja auch seit 20 Jahren sehr beliebt.
Der Preis ist ja auch relativ, man verliert ja nicht wirklich welche, und der Duo ist wirklich hervorragend gearbeitet, im Vergleich zu dem lieblos hingebastelten Barra Jerk für 15,-(der bei mir aber immer liefert).

Von der Tauschschaufel mal abgesehen, wobei ich einen mit verstärkter Schaufel habe die wirklich robust wirkt.
