I am thinking about buying this rod and i would just like to be sure that the handle is not to short. It is only 36 cm from butt to trigger. Does anyone have experience with such handles when throwing 100-150g lures?

Yes, I do.

36cm of grip length certainly must appear a bit short at first glance. However, with only 8' overall rod length, regular fast taper, and a maxmium lure weight of just 150g you should not encounter any problems whatsoever, because it does not take much of an effort to fully loading such a blank even with a short grip.

If on the other hand the grip were made to be much longer, while keeping the overall rod length, there would be less blank ahead of the trigger grip, thereby reducing casting distances considerably.

Thus, a shorter grip within the 35 to 40cm range is by far the better compromise, and you will get used to it very quickly. Just go for the rod when it suits you.
